This policy explains how Leadsource International Manager Limited (NZBN 9429047325371), trading as Alternative Business Loans ("we", "us"), handles personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020 and its Information Privacy Principles.

When you make an enquiry or talk to us, we may collect your name, contact details, business details (such as trading name, structure and NZBN), the amount and purpose of the funding you're seeking, information about property offered as security, and information about your business's finances and credit history that you or others provide. We also collect basic technical information when you use this website, such as pages visited and device type.

Why we collect it

• To assess which products and lending partners may suit your situation.
• To pass your information to lending partners so they can consider your application.
• To meet our legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering requirements.

Who we share it with

With your authorisation, we share information with lending partners on our panel and with service providers who help us operate (for example, form, hosting and communication providers). Lending partners may obtain credit reports and verify identity as part of their own assessment, under their own privacy policies. We don't sell personal information.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Some service providers may store information outside New Zealand; where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected in a way comparable to the Privacy Act 2020.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then securely dispose of it.

Your rights
